She is the wife of The Sensational Nightingales, Horace Thompson, and mother-in-law of The Canton Spirituals, Michael Richardson. |

Rosetta has been promoting gospel music for over 20 years. She is also the founder of the Thompson Family Singers for which she sings lead and background vocals. Group members consist of her daughter, Patricia Richardson, son, Anthony Thompson, several grandchildren, and members of the Mentrotone Baptist Church. She has appeared on numerous cable television networks, and her voice is a familiar sound on many radio stations. (Recent award from The Washington Post)
She is committed to several outreach ministries that include providing food and shelter to homeless families and she is involved in drug prevention/rehabilitation programs.
